MOSCOW, March 9. /TASS/. The documents on the implementation of a decree banning carrying certain types of products and commodities to and from Russia will be approved shortly, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a government meeting on Wednesday.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin granted the authority to ban or restrict carrying products, equipment, components and materials to and from the country amid unfriendly actions of a number of states to the cabinet, PM noted, adding that the government has also been tasked with forming lists of such goods.
"This decision will help ensure the economic security of our country, guarantee uninterrupted work of the industry and agriculture," Mishustin said, adding that "the regulatory documents for the implementation of this president’s decree will be signed shortly."
It is planned that the policies will be applied by December 31, 2022, according to the decree. Meanwhile, they will not cover the goods carried by citizens for personal use. The cabinet has also been tasked with compiling the lists of foreign states that those decisions will cover, within two days.
