Russian army receives delivery of tanks with additional protection systems — top brass

The protective systems were developed based on experience with the use of armored vehicles in the special military operation zone

MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. The Russian Armed Forces recently received delivery of a batch of tanks equipped with additional protection systems designed to save the crewmembers’ lives, the Defense Ministry reported.

"The accepted batches of tanks of various modifications were delivered from the factories equipped with additional protection systems designed to save the lives of crewmembers, as well as to ensure the survivability of the combat vehicle itself. The protective systems were developed based on experience with the use of armored vehicles in the special military operation zone and underwent comprehensive factory testing at the developer’s test range," the ministry emphasized.
