TEHRAN, October 29. /TASS/. Iran has not yet responded to a letter from US Vice President JD Vance addressed to the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), the Iranian Tasnim news agency reported.

According to the agency, the Iranian side has received the letter but has not yet replied. Tehran insists that Washington must fulfill Iran’s seven conditions, and any position that violates this final Iranian stance is unacceptable.

A day earlier, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that Vance had sent a letter to Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, in an attempt to resume negotiations with the Islamic Republic on resolving the conflict.
