Ukrainian forces deliberately targeted non-military sites in Sochi in September — lawmaker

Anna Skorokhod acknowledged that there are no military targets in Sochi

MOSCOW, October 9. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces deliberately targeted non-military facilities in the Russian city of Sochi in September, Verkhovna Rada lawmaker Anna Skorokhod said.

Specifically, in an interview with Ukrainian video blogger Yury Lisovsky, she noted that the Ukrainian military does not strike civilian targets but acknowledged that they had targeted Sochi. "No, there was a case in Sochi when they targeted the city with absolutely no military objective, as there are no military targets there. That was <…> telling," she said in an interview published on the blogger’s YouTube channel.

On September 9, the Ukrainian armed forces used drones to attack civilian targets in the coastal resort area of Sochi. As a result, 28 people were injured, and three adults and one child were hospitalized.
