SIRIUS/Federal Territory/, March 7. /TASS/. North Korea will support Russia in its just struggle in Ukraine and wishes a brilliant end to the special military operation, Mun Chol, Chairman of the Central Committee of the North Korean Socialist Patriotic Youth League, told TASS.

"We believe that the events in Ukraine are not just any conflict or war. It is a just struggle of the Russian people and the Russian youth for their sovereignty and the security of their state. Therefore, we consider your special military operation to be just, and you will achieve the final victory in it. We always support you. And we also wish you a speedy and final completion of this special military operation with brilliant successes," the head of the North Korean delegation to the World Youth Festival said.

About World Youth Festival

The World Youth Festival is taking place in the Sirius Federal Territory in far southern Russia on March 1-7, 2024. More than 300,000 people from 190 countries have applied to take part. Participants in the festival’s regional program will visit 30 Russian cities on March 10-17. TASS is the event’s general information partner.
