US to announce another $400 mln package of military aid to Ukraine — agency

The package will include, in particular, shells for HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems and ammunition for Bradley infantry fighting vehicles

WASHINGTON, March 3. /TASS/. The US administration is expected to announce another package of military assistance to Ukraine worth 400 million US dollars on Friday, Reuters retorted on Thursday, citing its sources.

The package will include mainly munitions, in particular HIMARS rockets and shells for Bradley firing vehicles (BDV). According to the agency, the United States also plans to send bridge-laying tanks.

According to Pentagon, the United States has sent $32 billion worth of military aid to Kiev since the beginning of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and other official have repeatedly warned about potential threats of the spread of the West’s weapons from Ukraine to other regions. According to Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov, the militarization of Ukraine by the West is a direct threat to European and global security.
