MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. Artificial intelligence (AI) should be used to ease teachers’ workload, while education must not be reduced to simply pressing buttons, and the quality of the educational process must not be allowed to deteriorate, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with teachers recognized with national awards as the country's best.
The head of state noted that AI can be used to automate many routine tasks that teachers are forced to do today, and much more.
"I believe this should be mentioned once again, namely that artificial intelligence in the educational process should not create conditions in which the quality of education deteriorates instead of improving. We must not approach this simplistically. And the learning process itself cannot be reduced to pressing certain buttons," the Russian leader stressed, adding that students should be engaged so that they always have an incentive to acquire knowledge.
