TV channels alert message appeared due to satellite attack, says broadcaster

According to the RTV GRM, now everything is airing as usual according to the broadcasting grid

MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. An air-raid alert message aired on a number of TV channels appeared as a result of an attack on the satellite operator's infrastructure, the press service of the Gazprom-Media holding (GPM RTV), which includes TV channels TNT, Pyatnitsa!, TV-3, Subota, TNT4 and 2x2, told TASS on Tuesday.

"The message about the air-raid alert aired on our TV channels is not true and appeared as a result of an attack on the satellite operator's infrastructure. Such satellite attacks are becoming part of our everyday work," the press service said.

According to the RTV GRM, now everything is airing as usual according to the broadcasting grid.

The press service of Russian Emergencies Ministry earlier told TASS that the servers of radio stations and TV channels in some regions of the country were hacked, that’s why an air-raid alert message was aired. The Emergencies Ministry stressed that this information was fake and did not correspond to reality.
