MOSCOW, February 13. /TASS/. Roscosmos said its medical commission deemed Russian cosmonauts Kirill Peskov and Oleg Platonov fit for the March 12 flight to the International Space Station as part of the SpaceX Crew-10 mission.
Platonov is a backup crewmember. The flight will be a part of the seat-swap agreement between Roscosmos and NASA.
Under the seat-swap deal, some US astronauts fly to the ISS on Russia’s Soyuz spacecraft, while Russian cosmonauts fly on America’s Crew Dragon capsules. Maxim Kharlamov, head of the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center, a subsidiary of Roscosmos, told TASS in January that the agreement was extended until the end of 2026.
