West fails to inflict strategic defeat on Russia — Putin

It is unlikely to become possible by 2030, the Russian president added

MOSCOW, October 29. /TASS/. The West failed to achieve its goal of inflicting a strategic defeat on Moscow and it is unlikely to succeed by 2030, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a press conference following the Russia-Africa Summit.

"Many are only talking about preparing for war by 2030. Is that the right thing to do? We are prepared but we do not want any kind of war with Europe," he stressed.

"As for them, if someone wants it, let them prepare. However, they failed to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia this time and it is unlikely to become possible by 2030," Putin added.
