UK policy may lead to total destruction of Ukraine — Russian ambassador

In his words, the United Kingdom has chosen to go into confrontation

LONDON, March 19. /TASS/. The United Kingdom’s policies regarding the conflict in Ukraine may lead the Ukraine to total destruction, Russian Ambassador to the UK Andrey Kelin told Channel 4.

"Americans dared, and in fact they changed this policy. They decided that it is no go, that they should talk to us, should talk to Moscow, should talk to Putin, to have negotiations. They have come now to the idea that this trend is an impasse. It leads not only to tension, but it leads to confrontation. However, the UK has pursued this line, not to talk to us," the Russian diplomat said.

In his words, the United Kingdom has chosen "to go into confrontation, to belligerently continue to supply arms, supply money to Ukrainians."

"What they would like to do? To destroy Ukraine totally. This is a possibility," Kelin said.
