Contingent of Polish mercenaries deployed near LPR’s Kremennaya, says officer

It has been established that there are women among the mercenaries, Andrey Marochko said

LUGANSK, 20 February. /TASS/. A contingent of Polish mercenaries, with female mercenaries among them, has arrived in the area of the town of Kremennaya in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), people’s militia retired Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko told TASS on Monday.

"Not only Ukrainian military, but also foreign mercenaries were spotted in the area of the town of Kremennaya. During the analysis of intercepted data, it was established that a contingent of foreign mercenaries, most of whom are Polish nationals, was deployed near Kremennaya. It has also been established that there are women among the mercenaries," Marochko said.

On February 18, Leonid Pasechnik, acting head of the LPR, said that the situation near Kremennaya and Svatovo on the line of contact was very difficult due to shelling by the Ukrainian army.
