LJUBLJANA, January 25. /TASS/. Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon on Wednesday said lasting peace and stability in Europe is impossible without Russia.

"As soon as peace is achieved, the most important thing - in addition to rebuilding Ukraine - will be to restore dialogue with Russia. That will help us to prevent a Cold War in Europe from starting. We realize that without Russia there will be no lasting peace and stability on our continent, so it will need to be part of the discussion about the new security architecture in Europe," she said at a Slovenian diplomatic conference.
