MOSCOW, January 25. /TASS/. The Kiev regime has played a role in plotting terror attacks and is capable of committing any crime, which proves that Russia has been on the right track of protecting itself, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday.
Commenting on a remark by Mikhail Podolyak, advisor to the Ukrainian presidential office, who said Kiev was mulling attacks on Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg, Peskov said, "Obviously, the Kiev regime can stoop to anything, which is just more proof that we have chosen the right path in our determination to protect ourselves from such a risk."
Kiev’s hand in the murder of reporter Daria Dugina and similar crimes testifies to the risk of assassination attempts against Russians, Peskov said on Tuesday as he commented on reports about Ukraine and the United States having discussed assassinating Yevgeny Prigozhin, founder of the Wagner private military company.
