UNITED NATIONS, November 30. /TASS/. Russia’s UN envoy Vasily Nebenzya on Wednesday said the European Commission’s proposal to set up a court on Ukraine under UN auspices aims to legitimize the illegal moves toward Russia.

"There are so many different proposals that it’s hard to keep track of them all. It’s an example of what is called an international rule-based order," he told reporters. "They devise these rules, then proclaim them universal and also seek the cover of UN authority."

"That’s all an attempt to cover up their lawlessness by unfit means," the envoy said. "They want to get a decision that they pushed through the UN General Assembly (the West-initiated resolution on reparations to Kiev - TASS) and then leave the UN alone and deal with it on their own, asking no one and reporting to no one.".
