Head of Russian delegation in Vienna calls blocking of its Twitter account censorship

Blocking of official accounts presenting an official fundamental position of this or that country is an apparent censorship, Konstantin Gavrilov noted

MOSCOW, February 13. /TASS/. Head of the Russian delegation at the talks on military security and arms control in Vienna Konstantin Gavrilov has called blocking of the Twitter account of his diplomatic mission an apparent censorship.

"Blocking of official accounts presenting an official fundamental position of this or that country is an apparent censorship," he wrote on Twitter.

Earlier Gavrilov wrote on his personal account of the same social network that Twitter’s technical support had blocked the official account of the Russian delegation. He suggested that it was due to "Russia’s alternative position on military and political situation in Europe announced at the OSCE seminar on military doctrines.".
