PATRIOT PARK (Moscow Region), November 2. /TASS/. The Krona short-range anti-aircraft missile system for territorial air defense has successfully completed preliminary tests and will undergo state testing by the end of the year, Kalashnikov Group CEO Alan Lushnikov told reporters.
"Speaking of defense against drones, I must mention that our Krona system, which we announced some time ago, has successfully passed preliminary testing. We are now assigning it the ‘O’ status, and the official tests will begin this year," said Lushnikov.
In May, it was reported that Krona was undergoing preliminary testing as planned, to evaluate its endurance, climatic resilience, mechanical reliability, and firing capabilities.
