MOSCOW, October 29. /TASS/. Russian Presidential Adviser, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee for the Summit of Heads of State and Government of Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) member states Anton Kobyakov confirmed Moscow's intentions to establish a maritime logistics hub on the east coast of Africa.
"Russian-African negotiations also took place during the forum regarding the establishment of a maritime logistics hub on the east coast of Africa as part of the International North-South Transport Corridor. Has there been any progress in these negotiations? We are moving forward with it. There have been no setbacks, other than the war that the US has unleashed in this region. Therefore, as soon as the situation stabilizes, we will continue this work," he said.
