The number of cyberattacks on Russian public agencies increased by 25% in 2022 compared with 2021 to 403 attacks, according to a presentation by Positive Technologies, a firm operating in the cybersecurity sector, which was delivered by CEO Advisor Artyom Sychev on Tuesday.
"In 2022 in total we registered 403 cyberattacks, which is 25% higher than in 2021," according to the presentation.
The number of attacks on private persons also rose - by 44% compared with 2021, with the number of attacks on ordinary users accounting for 17% of all attacks.
