Russian servicemen control 30% of Chasov Yar in DPR — expert

According to military expert Andrey Marochko, 10% of the territory is the so-called grey zone

LUGANSK, November 23. /TASS/. The Russian servicemen are advancing in Chasov Yar in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in fierce fighting, with 30% of the town being under their control now, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.

"Fierce fighting is underway in Chasov Yar. If we speak about territories that are controlled in Chasov Yar, 60% [of the town] is controlled by Ukraine’s armed forces, 30% is controlled by our units and 10% is the so-called grey zone, which changes hands," he said.

Earlier, Marochko told TASS that the Russian forces, exploiting a drive in Chasov Yar, have gained a foothold in its industrial zone.
