Pentagon’s activity in Ukraine carefully concealed from Americans - Defense Ministry

The DTRA updated strategy until 2027 explicitly acknowledges its dual role, Igor Kirillov said

MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/. The US Department of Defense conceals the activities of its Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) from Americans, deleting the information about the research results obtained in Ukraine from their reports, Chief of Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Troops Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov said on Saturday ahead of the Ninth Review Conference of the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC).

"DTRA’s activities are carefully concealed, including from the Americans themselves. Thus, on November 10, a 345-page document concerning the financing of Black & Veatch and its activities in Ukraine was obtained," he said. "It should be noted that dozens of pages of the Pentagon papers have been censored, and information concerning contractors and research results gained in Ukraine has been totally removed."

Kirillov added that the DTRA updated strategy until 2027 explicitly acknowledges its dual role, which not only involves providing protection, but also offering combat support to military units. According to the general, under the strategy, one of the DTRA's priority tasks is to ensure the US Armed Forces’ military superiority over the enemy.
