Putin presented with Portuguese phrasebook ahead of G20 summit in Brazil

The summit is expected to take place next fall

MOSCOW, November 19. /TASS/. /TASS/. President of the BRICS Business Council Vicente Barrientos has said he presented a Portuguese phrasebook to Russian President Vladimir Putin during the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum.

"I had been waiting for this meeting for a long time, but the host failed to give me the floor. A G20 summit will soon be held in Brazil and I thought that it would be helpful to the Russian president to have a Portuguese phrasebook," he said in an interview with the Moscow.Kremlin.Putin program on the Rossiya-1 television channel.

The Group of Twenty summit is expected to be held in Brazil nest fall. Brazil takes over presidency of the association from December 1.

The 9th St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum is being held on November 16-18. The Forum has been organized by Russia’s government and ministry of culture, along with the St. Petersburg authorities and the State Hermitage Museum.
