MOSCOW, March 27. /TASS/. Russia's international reserves, amounted to $650.4 billion as of March 21, 2025, having increased by $8.5 bln in a week, the Bank of Russia reported.
"International reserves as of the close of business on March 21, 2025 stood at $650.4 bln, having increased over the week by $8.5 bln or by 1.3%, predominantly as a result of positive revaluation," the regulator informed.
As of March 14, the volume of reserves was $641.9 billion, according to the regulator's data.
Russia’s international reserves are highly liquid foreign assets available with the Bank of Russia and the Russian Government. They comprise foreign currency, Special Drawing Rights (SDRs), a reserve position in the International Monetary Fund and monetary gold.
