MOSCOW, September 16. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia's deputy emergencies minister discussed the possibility of sending humanitarian aid to Iraq with the Iraqi ambassador to Moscow, the ministry's spokesman said on Tuesday.
Vladimir Artomonov and Ismail Shafiq Muhsin discussed the humanitarian crisis in northern Iraq and the armed conflict in the country where Islamic State extremists launched an offensive in June 2014 and seized vast territories in both Iraq and neighboring Syria.
