According to the sources, Ukrainian President noted that it would not be easy to resettle the population and circumvent the constitutional ban on giving up territories

NEW YORK, August 19. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky did not immediately reject the idea of territorial concessions at a closed-door meeting with US President Donald Trump and European leaders, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing sources.

According to the sources, Zelensky did point to certain difficulties. In particular, he said that it would not be easy to resettle the population and circumvent the constitutional ban on giving up territories.

Still, Zelensky said that he might consider "proportional swaps" as part of a potential peace settlement.
