Algeria’s Constitutional Court declares Abdelmadjid Tebboune re-elected as president

The president in Algeria is elected for five years and can serve no longer than two terms

RABAT, September 14. /TASS/. The Constitutional Court of Algeria declared that incumbent President Abdelmadjid Tebboun had been re-elected as president, Algerian radio reported.

His victory in the September 7 vote was earlier announced by the country's electoral commission. The turnout was 48.03%.
