MOSCOW, October 11. /TASS/. The United States has long been involved in the conflict in Ukraine de facto and arming the regime in Kiev, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on the 60 Minutes program on the Rossiya-1 television channel on Tuesday.

"The way I see it, de facto the Americans have been participating in this war for a long time. They are not only arming [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky and his regime. They are providing intelligence data from satellites," Lavrov said, while commenting on US President Joe Biden’s promise in a conversation with Zelensky to continue to support Kiev with military hardware, including air defense systems.

Lavrov recalled that commercial satellites were also involved, saying that now they are "at the service of military plans for supporting the neo-Nazi regime."

"Incidentally, this, by the way, emphasizes the relevance of our long-standing initiative to prevent an arms race in outer space," he added.
