NEW YORK, March 11. /TASS/. The SpaceX Crew Dragon manned spacecraft carrying the Crew-7 mission crew, which includes Russian Cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov, successfully undocked from the International Space Station to return to the Earth. The undocking procedure was livestreamed on the NASA website.
The undocking took place on 11:20 EST (18:20 Moscow time); the spacecraft is expected to make a splashdown on Tuesday, March 12, near the Florida coast.
The Crew-7 mission, which arrived at the space station in late August, also included NASA Astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, European Space Agency’s Andreas Mogensen (Denmark) and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s (JAXA) Satoshi Furukawa. They stayed aboard the ISS for 197 days.
Currently, the ISS is manned by Roscomos cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko, Nikolay Chub and Alexander Grebenkin, as well as by NASA astronauts Loral O'Hara, Matthew Dominick, Michael Barratt, and Jeanette Epps.
