Two people killed, 10 injured in Ukrainian attacks on Belgorod Region over past 24 hours

The Ukrainian military fired 44 munitions at settlements in the Graivoronsky district and attacked them with 35 drones

BELGOROD, April 1. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have attacked settlements in Russia’s bordering Belgorod Region with more than 150 drones over the past 24 hours, firing an additional 60 or so munitions at the area, resulting in two civilian deaths and 10 injuries, the regional crisis response center reported on its Telegram channel.

"In Belgorod, three people were injured as a result of a drone attack on the Belgorod Region government building: two employees and a visitor. The man and woman were taken to hospitals in Belgorod. The third injured person was released for outpatient treatment. The building’s facade and glazing were damaged," the regional crisis response center stated. The Ukrainian military launched 19 drones at the Belgorod district, injuring a woman who was taken to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2. Equipment on the premises of an enterprise, four private houses, and an outbuilding were damaged. The Borisovsky district was attacked by two drones, which damaged the fence of a private house. The Valuisky district was attacked with nine drones, injuring the head of the Kazinka administration. After getting first aid, he is undergoing outpatient treatment. The Volokonovsky district was attacked with one drone, damaging a car. The enemy fired 44 munitions at settlements in the Graivoronsky district and attacked them with 35 drones. A man was killed and a woman was injured in the attack. The woman is undergoing treatment at Belgorod City Hospital No. 2. According to the crisis response center, five private houses and a garage were damaged in the Graivoronsky district.

The Krasnoyaruzhsky district was attacked with 35 drones and 13 munitions, damaging a garage. The Chernyansky district was attacked with one drone, no casualties have been reported. The Ukrainian armed forces launched 51 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) at the Shebekinsky district. A forensic examination confirmed the death of a civilian in a drone attack on a car on March 29. Two more men were injured in the drone attack on a car; one was taken to the regional clinical hospital, while the other is undergoing outpatient treatment. The driver of a bus was injured in a drone attack on the bus and was taken to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2.

In the Shebekinsky district, a man was injured in an FPV drone attack on a car; he is undergoing inpatient treatment at Belgorod City Hospital No. 2. Six private houses and two buildings were also damaged, and equipment at a commercial facility caught fire; the fire was extinguished.
