Russia ready to discuss idea of joint work in space with US — RDIF chief

Russia is ready to discuss the idea of joint activities in space with the United States, special envoy of the Russian President for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries and chief executive of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev said.

"We have discussed the idea of working with the Americans on the space direction with new chief executive of Roscosmos [Dmitry] Bakanov," Dmitriev said.

"Our idea of the joint work with Musk is not merely the idea in respect of Mars, this is presence of very strong competencies in Roscosmos and Rosatom, which may help, in particular, in flying to Mars, in making it more efficient and safe. I think this dialogue will continue," he added.
