Fortification works underway in Crimea to enhance peninsula’s security — regional head

It is stressed that the ongoing measures being implemented on an instruction from the Russian leadership are sufficient to ensure Crimea’s security

SIMFEROPOL, November 18. /TASS/. The Crimean authorities are controlling fortification works on the peninsula to enhance the security of its residents, Crimea’s Head Sergey Aksyonov said on Friday.

"Fortifications works are underway on the territory of Crimea under my control to guarantee the security of Crimean residents," Aksyonov pointed out.

The ongoing measures being implemented on an instruction from the Russian leadership are sufficient to ensure Crimea’s security, he stressed.
