KAZAN, November 24. /TASS/. Infomatika, a resident of the Innopolis special economic zone (SEZ), is the official vendor of the spectator access control system at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Qatar, the SEZ press service told TASS.
"The resident of Innopolis SEZ has become the sole Russian company - supplier of the Lenta Seacs spectator electronic access control system, participating in the preparation and holding of the FIFA World Cup 2022," the press service said.
The hardware component of the Lenta Seacs spectator electronic access control system comprises 94 Horizon smart turnstiles, 30 Navigare smart wickets and the Contour Classic premium turnstile mounted in the inner perimeter of the stadium.
"The Ahmad bin Ali Stadium outfit project was implemented within a record small timeframe. More than 120 units of access control equipment were produced and supplied to the customer within four months. Despite lack of physical ability to access the site in view of coronavirus restrictions in 2020, the company managed to perform technical installation of the system remotely, having transferred final installation to local partners with a separate contract concluded," the press service informed.
The Lenta Seacs is integrated with the FIFA ticketing system, meets FIFA requirements and is adapted to Qatar’s environmental features, the press service added.
