MOSCOW, March 28. /TASS/. Russia does not exclude European countries from the Greater Eurasian Partnership, but their leadership must understand the inaccuracy of their current course, Dmitry Birichevsky, head of the Department of Economic Cooperation at the Russian Foreign Ministry, said.
"Even though Europe says that it does not want to trade with Russia, introduces all sorts of restrictions, their businesses want to and many continue to do so, despite the political position of their countries," he noted at the International Economic Forum of the CIS Member States.
"Therefore, when we talk about the Greater Eurasian Partnership today, naturally, we do not exclude Europe. Of course, the authorities of these countries must take the red pill and understand the inaccuracy of their current policy," the diplomat stressed.
According to Birichevsky, the task now is to "give impetus to those arteries, threads that run through the large region of Eurasia between East and West."
