NATO summit pledges to tack on €10B to EU's €60B promised earlier to Kiev — AFP

The United States has previously stated that it does not plan to allocate funds for financing Ukraine

BRUSSELS, July 3. /TASS/. NATO leaders at the summit in Ankara will promise Ukraine 10 billion euros in new funding instead of the previously expected 70 billion euros to sustain the conflict through the end of 2027, AFP reported, citing diplomatic sources.

"European NATO countries and Canada agreed at the NATO summit in Ankara to provide Ukraine with 70 billion euros in military assistance during 2026 and 2027. This amount will include the 60 billion euros that the EU has already pledged to Kiev for 2026 and 2027 (as part of the 90-billion-euro financing program for the Kiev regime - TASS)," the news agency reported.

The United States has previously stated that it does not plan to allocate funds for financing Ukraine but is ready to sell weapons, with other NATO countries covering the cost.
