Putin’s military appearance signals determination to 'finish off neo-Nazi threat' — MFA

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova drew attention to reports by British politician and journalist Jim Ferguson, who described the Russian leader’s appearance in military uniform at the meeting as an intentional signal

MOSCOW, July 4. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s appearance at a meeting on the liberation of Konstantinovka in military uniform is a signal that the "terrorist neo-Nazi threat" will be pursued till the very end and across all fronts, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

She drew attention to reports by British politician and journalist Jim Ferguson, who described the Russian leader’s appearance in military uniform at the meeting as an intentional signal.

"I think he is right. There have been more than enough signals of an intention to resolve issues peacefully. All of them were ignored by the Western relay system, which has broken down. The current signal is clear: we will finish off the terrorist neo-Nazi threat to the end and across all fronts. We are not abandoning peace, but the methodology of persuasion has changed," the diplomat wrote on her Telegram channel.

"Work, brothers and sisters!" Zakharova added.

During the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Putin responded to a letter from Vladimir Zelensky by addressing Russian servicemen operating on the line of engagement, concluding his response with the words "Work, brothers!" and stressing that the whole country is proud of them.
