MOSCOW, July 4. /TASS/. All unilateral restrictions imposed against Russia are illegal and cannot even be considered sanctions, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said while speaking to journalists following his visit to Iran.

"What are illegal sanctions? These are measures not provided for by the UN Charter or other international treaties. All sanctions imposed against Moscow are, in fact, illegal measures. That is why we do not even call them sanctions. They are just unilateral illegal restrictions," Medvedev said.
