Thirteen Ukrainian drones downed over three Russian regions last night

An attempt to conduct an attack against facilities on Russian soil using fixed-wing UAVs was thwarted

MOSCOW, December 9. /TASS/. Overnight, air defense forces destroyed and intercepted 13 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over three Russian regions, Russia’s Defense Ministry said.

"Last night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to conduct a terrorist attack against facilities on Russian soil using fixed-wing UAVs was thwarted. Air defense forces on duty intercepted and downed 13 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, including eight UAVs over the Belgorod Region, three over the Rostov Region and two over the Astrakhan Region," the ministry specified.

Earlier, acting governor of the Rostov Region, Yury Slyusar, wrote on his Telegram channel that three Ukrainian UAVs were downed in the skies over his region overnight.
