Ukraine continues to receive weapons from US despite Iran operation — Sikorski

The Polish foreign minister noted that the situation could change

MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. American arms deliveries to Ukraine continue despite the US and Israeli operation against Iran, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said on TVN24.

"So far, American support for Ukraine has not diminished," Sikorski noted. However, the minister added, the situation could change. "However, of course, everyone is counting how many Tomahawk or [Patriot] PAC-3 missiles have been used," he said.

The United States and Israel launched a military operation against Iran on February 28. Major Iranian cities, including Tehran, were hit. The White House justified the attack by citing alleged missile and nuclear threats from Iran. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced a retaliatory operation, targeting sites in Israel. US targets in Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Syria were also struck. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and some other key Iranian leaders were killed in the joint US-Israeli attack.
