WASHINGTON, August 19. /TASS/. The US administration expects a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky to be held by the end of the month, Axios reporter Barack Ravid said.

"A source with knowledge said the hope is to do the Putin-Zelensky meeting by the end of August," he wrote on the X social media platform.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that he "began the arrangements for a meeting" between Vladimir Putin and Zelensky, which is supposed to be followed by their trilateral talks.
