Namibian president Hage Geingob passes away at 82

His duties will be taken over by Acting President Nangolo Mbumba

PRETORIA, February 4. /TASS/. Namibia’s President Hage Geingob died on February 4 at the age of 82.

In January, the presidential office reported that he was diagnosed with cancer.

His duties will be taken over by Acting President Nangolo Mbumba.

Geingob has served as president since 2015 and was currently on his second term.
