ANKARA, February 7. /TASS/. Seventy countries have offered their assistance to Turkey after the devastating earthquakes that hit the country, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday.
"As of now, we have received offers of help from 70 countries and 14 international organizations. We have also spoken over the phone with 18 heads of state and government. I would like to thank all of our friends, heads of state and government, who got in touch with us to express their support and offer assistance in this difficult time for our country," he said, adding that Turkey values international assistance in terms of its moral impact as well.
