Four IAEA experts start working at Zaporozhye NPP following rotation

Russian Defense Ministry servicemen, Russian National Guard personnel, and officers from the Main Directorate of the Russian Interior Ministry for the Zaporozhye Region ensured the security of the rotation

MELITOPOL, September 18. /TASS/. Four International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) experts began work at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) following a rotation, the plant’s press office reported on Max messenger.

"Another rotation of IAEA experts has taken place at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, which is operated by Russia’s Nuclear Corporation Rosatom. Four experts from the agency’s 36th team have started working at the plant," the statement said.

The plant’s press office noted that IAEA representatives have been working at the ZNPP since September 1, 2022.

"Russian Defense Ministry servicemen, Russian National Guard personnel, and officers from the Main Directorate of the Russian Interior Ministry for the Zaporozhye Region ensured the security of the rotation. Russian troops also thwarted provocations by Ukrainian forces. Thanks to the coordinated actions of all units involved, the rotation was carried out safely, promptly and completely," the ZNPP said.
