KRASNODAR, August 24. /TASS/. The number of people injured in an overnight Ukrainian drone attack on Krasnodar has risen to 12, with 10 people, including six children, hospitalized, the regional emergency response headquarters said on Telegram.
Three children were killed in a drone attack on a private children’s facility, Russia’s Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova said.

Attack on the region
- Drone debris struck a private children’s facility in the city of Krasnodar, in Russia’s southern Krasnodar Region, regional Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said.
- He stressed that Ukrainian forces had once again targeted civilian facilities, local residents and children.
- Drone debris also hit residential buildings, including apartment blocks under construction.
- Emergency services are working at the site.
- A warehouse operated by Russian e-commerce company Ozon also came under attack in Krasnodar.
- The company evacuated the warehouse.
- Preliminary reports indicate that no one was injured.
Injuries
- Ukrainian drone attack injured eight people at a private children’s facility in Krasnodar, including six children, Russian Deputy Health Minister’s aide Alexey Kuznetsov said.
- The injured, including six children in moderate condition and two adults in serious condition, are receiving medical care.
- Kuznetsov added that specialists from federal medical centers are providing telemedicine consultations.
- Two women were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds, while two other residents received outpatient treatment, Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeny Naumov said on Max messenger.
Fatalities

Response
- Krasnodar authorities will accommodate residents of a five-story building whose apartments were badly damaged in the overnight drone attack in a hotel and help restore their homes, Naumov said.
- Authorities established an emergency response center in the courtyard of the five-story building damaged in the overnight drone attack, he added.
- Sochi authorities will assist the family of a 15-year-old girl killed in the Ukrainian attack on Krasnodar, Mayor Andrey Proshunin said on Telegram.
- The Krasnodar Region prosecutor’s office opened a hotline after the drone attack, it said on Max.
Air traffic in the region
- A total of 110 flights have been delayed at Sochi International Airport, including 60 departures and 50 arrivals, according to the airport’s online departure board.
- Twenty-one departures have been delayed by more than 10 hours, including flights to Syktyvkar, Novosibirsk, Perm, Surgut, Omsk, Kemerovo, Yekaterinburg, Moscow, Kazan, Ufa, Tyumen, Samara and St. Petersburg.
- Another eight arrivals have been delayed, including flights from Perm, Novosibirsk, Tyumen, Omsk, Yekaterinburg, Nizhnevartovsk, St. Petersburg and Nizhnekamsk.
- The airport’s Telegram channel said it expects to handle 111 arrivals with 20,500 passengers and 114 departures with 20,700 passengers over the next 24 hours.
