MOSCOW, October 19. /TASS/. Russian Interior Ministry’s staff has passed to a strenghtened mode of service, especially in border territories, the department’s head Vladimir Kolokoltsev said.
"Personnel of some territories have shifted to a strenghtened mode of service. Especially in border territories," he said on Wednesday at a meeting in the State Duma.
Kolokoltsev noted that external and domestic factors continue to influence the activity of internal affairs bodies. "Among the new challenges are the aggressive Western policy and the openly provocative and terrorist nature of the ruling Kiev regime's actions," he said.
In this regard, according to the minister, a set of measures to prevent the complication of operational situation and a timely response to its changes is being carried out.
