Russian, DPR forces still nabbing lone militants left over at Azovstal

"After the interrogation and indictment, the nationalists will be kept at pre-trial detention centers "just like the rest of the criminals who surrendered earlier," the source said

MARIUPOL, June 14. /TASS/. Isolated Azov militants are still being captured at the Azovstal steel works by the armed forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic and Russia, a law enforcement source told TASS on Tuesday.

"Russian and DPR servicemen have still been nabbing one or two Azov nationalists at the Azovstal plant almost daily <…>. All the war criminals are being identified, and investigative actions are being conducted with them," the source said. After the interrogation and indictment, the nationalists will be kept at pre-trial detention centers "just like the rest of the criminals who surrendered earlier," he added.

TASS could not obtain any official comment from investigators.

On May 20, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said that Russian troops had completely liberated the Azovstal works from any remaining Ukrainian militants.
