Spotify closes its legal entity in Russia

MOSCOW, February 9. /TASS/. Swedish-based music streaming service Spotify has begun the process of liquidating its Russian legal entity, according to data from Spark analytical system.

Spotify LLC has been registered in Russia for 9 years since January 13, 2014. Meanwhile, according to the Spark system, on February 6, 2023, the service sent an application for state registration in connection with its liquidation.

Spotify left Russia on April 11 2022. All Spotify services are not be available in Russia, but users are able to reactivate an account in another country in the user settings, the service's website said.
