McDonald’s sites to open under new brand on June 12 — company

A source in the company told TASS earlier that the restaurant near the Pushkinskaya subway station in Moscow will be the first to open

MOSCOW, May 26. /TASS/. The McDonald’s chain plans to open on June 12 under a new brand and the exact schedule will be known later, the company’s press service told TASS.

"We can confirm we seek after opening on June 12 for our guests. The exact schedule of sites’ opening will be known later. We will present the updated brand separately in the near future," a press service spokesperson said.

A source in the company told TASS earlier that the restaurant near the Pushkinskaya subway station in Moscow will be the first to open on June 12.

McDonald’s suspended operations of all their 850 sites in Russia on March 14. On May 16, the company announced its withdrawal from Russia and sold the business to a Russian owner with the mediation of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
