MOSCOW, April 21. /TASS/. Russian forces have eliminated 511 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, 2,410 tanks and other armored vehicles since the beginning of their special military operation in Ukraine, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said on Thursday.
"Overall, the following targets have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation: 140 aircraft, 106 helicopters, 511 unmanned aerial vehicles, 254 surface-to-air missile systems, 2,410 tanks and other combat armored vehicles, 262 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,046 field artillery guns and mortars and 2,259 special military motor vehicles," the spokesman said.
Russian combat aircraft hit 20 sites of the amassment of Ukrainian manpower and military hardware in three populated areas overnight, Konashenkov said.
"Operational-tactical and army aviation aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces struck 20 sites of the amassment of Ukrainian manpower and military hardware near the communities of Shnurki, Novonikolayevka and Aleksandrovka overnight," the spokesman said.
Russian air defense forces eliminated 13 Ukrainian drones and shot down a Tochka-U tactical missile near the community of Donetskoye, Konashenkov said.
"Russian air defense capabilities eliminated 13 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles," the spokesman said.
The Russian air defense forces shot down the Ukrainian drones near the communities of Berezovaya, Brazhkovka, Verkhnetoretskoye, Debrovka, Izyum, Kalinovka, Kiselyovka, Lozovaya, Novobogdanovka, Novoaleksandrovka and Chuvakovka, the general said.
"In the area of Donetskoye, a Ukrainian Tochka-U tactical missile was shot down," the spokesman said.
Russian missile and artillery troops delivered strikes on 1,001 Ukrainian military sites overnight, Konashenkov said.

The targets destroyed included 58 command posts, 162 artillery positions, 771 strongholds and sites of the amassment of Ukrainian troops and military hardware in the communities of Mayaki, Dibrovnoye, Mazanovka, Dolina Krasnopolye, Velikaya Kamyshevakha, Chervonoye, Vernopolye, Pashkovka, Dmitrovka, Novaya Dmitrovka, Vysoky, Chernoglazovka, Slatino, Zolochev, Partizanskoye, Aleksandrovka, and also Shevchenko in the Nikolayev Region, the general said.
