TEHRAN, November 2. /TASS/. The Iranian authorities continue to exchange messages with the US through intermediaries; the basis for the negotiations remains the seven-day plan previously proposed by Tehran and fleshed out in detail, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said.
"Negotiations are ongoing. In any case, the issue is complex - or, more precisely, there are many complex issues - and the passage of time and the actions of the US have only added to their complexity. In our opinion, the exchange of messages continues to this day," he noted, commenting on the recent visit by Iran’s deputy foreign minister to Qatar.
Baghaei emphasized that the seven-day plan previously proposed by Tehran remains the basis for all negotiations and consultations between Iran and the US, conducted through intermediaries. This plan can be fully implemented within two days, the diplomat pointed out.
