WASHINGTON, June 28. /TASS/. The US military has launched a new series of strikes on targets in Iran in retaliation for an earlier attack on a commercial tanker, Axios journalist Barak Ravid said.

"The US military is conducting strikes on Iranian targets in the area of the strait of Hormuz in retaliation for Iranian attack this morning on a commercial tanker, US official says," he wrote on the X social network.
